PLAN THE NEXT SWITCH
A soccer substitution app for the sideline.
See who’s playing, prepare who goes on next and make the change when your team is ready.

Next on Field is a soccer coaching app that brings your formation, bench, game clock and substitutions into one view. It helps youth and recreational coaches keep track of changes while staying involved in the game.
Before kickoff: set out the team
Add your roster, choose the players available for the game and put your starting players on the field. Position colors help you distinguish the lineup at a glance. Keep a separate team for each group you coach.
A useful rotation plan starts with the players who are actually present. Think about who will come off, who will replace them and whether any player will move to another position. You can adjust the next switch as the game changes.
Prepare several changes together
Set up substitutions before you need to make them. Next on Field keeps the current lineup in place while you prepare the incoming players and their positions. Execute the switch when the substitution actually happens.
That distinction matters when a stoppage takes longer than expected: preparing a switch does not mean the incoming player has already started playing. Use the game clock and record changes when they happen so the playing-time record stays useful.
Keep your assistant on the same page
Invite your assistant using their own coach account. With both devices connected to the internet, coaches can see and update the same team, including the lineup, score, clock and notes. Each coach can use their own cellular connection.
If you lose signal, a team already saved on your device remains usable. Shared changes resume when you reconnect. Live updates between coaches need a connection on both devices.
Review how the rotation worked
Check each player’s minutes during the game, then finish and save the match. History gives you the final score, playing time, time at each position and the notes you recorded. You can export a CSV summary to review later or share.
